Terrible, laggy controls

It seems like by now Developers would understand that no matter how good your game is, the controls need to be good too. I paid for this game and deleted it 20 minutes later because the laggy controls make it nearly unplayable. This is on an iPhone 5s

Every time you press a direction on the D-pad, there is a half second delay before you actually start moving. I just dont understand how somebody could test these controls and think they were good to go. Also, I tried the alternative gesture controls and they were even worse.

Im rating this two stars because it seems like a cool game with nice graphics and fun puzzles..unfortunately, the controls make it an overall painful experience
